Ethics/Values

Everyone has their own set of ethics and values. Some people's values are the same and other people have values that are completely different. I think that a person's ethics and values are very important. Your ethics determine the things that you do when you are in and out of school. It determines the way that you will behave and act. If you gave good ethics then you will behave well in the classroom and will follow the law out of school. It you do not have very good ethics, then you probably do not behave in the classroom and do not follow the law outside of school. It is usually pretty easy to understand what ethics different people have. A person shows their ethics and values through the way they talk and act. Usually groups of friends have similar ethics and values. A perfect student and role model is not going to be hanging around drug dealers or bad people like this. The group of friends that you associate with usually has the same ethics and values that you have. Each group has its own unique ethics and values and each person within that group has their own unique ethics and values. I think it is important to have strong ethics, but your ethics and values should not be too strict. My ethics and values are very important to me and keep me doing the right thing, but they do not prevent me from having fun. It is important to keep your values and ethics making you do the right thing, but if you are not having fun then you should re-evaluate them and change them. It is important to keep your ethics and values true to what you want them to be. Just because a group of people does something that they are okay with, it does not mean you should adjust your ethics to fit in with them. I think this is very important. You should do what you want to do, not what your friends want you to do. Your ethics and values are what makes up your personality. It is your decision what your values are. No one should judge your values, if they are good or bad. Everyone's values and ethics are unique to themselves. Some people strive to be the best person that they can be while others do not care about much of anything.

Working With Partners

I think that it is a good idea to work with partners from another school. This is a real scenario that could happen in a real job. I think it will be a very good experience to work with someone who you have never met. This could be very help full later in life. This is not like any other assignment that I have ever done. Usually you can just talk to your partner in person about what you want to do for your project. It will be much harder to communicate with your partner in this project. It will be a very interesting experience and will hopefully be very help full later in life. I think that we should do more projects like this that are different from the normal things that we do. Projects like this will help us later in life. I think it would be very beneficial if we did more things like this. It will be very interesting to get to know this person that I will be working with and have never met. Take for example my person, their name is Jordon. Jordon can be a girl's name or Jordon could be a boy's name. I don't know which my partner is. Not that it matters, it is just strange to be working on a project and not only not know the other person, but not know whether they are a boy or girl. I have just communicated with my partner. I know my partner goes to school at Farmington High School. is involved in Spanish club, key club, cross country and Science Olympiad, but did not know if they are a boy or girl. I don't know if I will even know by the time the project is over whether I have been working with a boy or a girl. This project is with kids from Farmington High School, but we could easily be working with someone from another country. Overall, I think this project is a good idea.

Organized Religion

Organized religion is found everywhere in the world and there are many types of it. There is Christianity, Muslim, Buddhism, and many more. Religion is a very important part of our society. I believe that religion is very important to peoples values and keeps people out of trouble. I am Christian, and I can say that this is true for me. This is true, but it is also true that religion is the start of many fights. For instance, the Jews and Muslims have been fighting for hundreds of years over religion. With this said, I do believe that religion does much more good than it does bad. Organized Religion keeps people out of trouble and gives people something to believe in higher than themselves. I try to always think twice about what I am doing because of my religion. I will always think about what God would want me to do in whatever situation that I am in. He is a good guide for me and for the most part keeps me doing the right things in my life. Without God, I am sure that I would have made some much worse decisions than I have already in my life. Organized religion is a very important part of my life and is a very important part of many other lives. If there were no churches in the entire world, then i am sure the world would be a very different place. Religion keeps stability in the world and is a very big factor in every nation across the world. Without it, I am not sure what the world would be like, but it would defiantly be much worse off. Organized religion is everywhere, and is one of if not the most important concepts in the world. To worship and value something bigger and better than yourself is to put yourself in someone ese's hands. I think that religion stops a lot of worrying in the world. If you can rely on God to take care of something for you and keep you safe, then mentally, you will save yourself from a lot of unnecessary worrying and anxiety. Organized religion is everywhere and is a very important part of the world we live in.

Blame

Everyone has been blamed for something at some point in their life that they did not do. We have all been in this situation and we have all been blamed for things that we are responsible for. I hate it when people do not own up to something that they have actually done. When you are blamed for something that you have done, you should have the courage to own up to it. Despite what is right, most people will deny doing something wrong unless there is one hundred percent proof that they have done it. I think that this happens in the world all the time. Blame takes place in school, politics, and sports. If something unexpected goes wrong, it is human nature to blame someone or something else for the problem. It does not cross most people's minds that it may have been he or she that made the mistake. Instead it is much easier to blame someone else than it is to take responsibility for one's actions. I hear this all the time in sports. If a team loses a close game, it was the ref's fault. You hear about teams getting "homered" all the time. If someone gets beat at something, the opponent was either cheating or playing dirty. These excuses are very common and if you play sports or are a competitive person, you will most likely hear them more than once. People blame their troubles on someone or something way too often. I think much higher of people who have the courage to stand up and say they made a mistake. It is very easy to blame something else or to make an excuse. It is not so easy to admit that you were at fault, but you will sleep better and will have a clear conscious if you do so.
Blame takes place everywhere and there is nothing that will stop that. We should all try to cut down on excuses and strive to take more responsibility for our actions.

My True Color

I recently took the True Color Quiz and discovered that my true color is orange. This did not really surprise me. I like to have fun and this is the color that overall describes me best. Some qualities of people with an orange personality are, competitive, courageous, upbeat, fun, and risk taking. Out of all the colors, this one by far describes me the best. I am extremely competitive and hate losing. I am sometimes risk taking and courageous. I am usually pretty upbeat, but most of all, I like to have fun. I believe that having fun is one of the most important things in life. If you are not having fun, then life would not be very enjoyable. The color that came in second for me was gold. I find this very surprising. A gold personality means that you are conventional, well organized, and like to follow the rules. None of these things describe me. I am extremely unorganized and do not always follow rules very well. I do not think that the True Color Quiz is one hundred percent accurate. I do not think that you can accurately label someones personality just by answering a few simple questions. Even though the test is not completely accurate it is still very interesting to see what it says your personality is. I personally think that my second color is green. I think logically and think everything out very carefully before I do something important. The green personality describes me much better that the gold does. For the most part, I am the exact opposite of a gold personality. The True Colors Quiz was very interesting and made me analyze other people and think what color their personality would probably be. Now that I have taken the quiz, I think that i can accurately label other people and predict what color they would be. I do not think that the True Colors Quiz is one hundred percent accurate, but it is very intriguing and I would highly recommend everyone try it to find out what color personality they might be.

How I Catorgize/Describe People

I try to categorize someone or describe them after I meet them and get to know them. I try not to judge someone before I know who they are. This is not always easy to do, but I believe it is the right thing to do. There are many different ways to categorize a person. I think that you can categorize a person by the way they act, dress, talk, and by who they associate with. Everyone has a group or multiple groups of people that they hang out with. Usually the people in these groups have a lot in common. They usually dress similar and talk the same. There are many groups like this in our school and I find that people are categorized by this. Everything about a person can be described or categorized. This tells a lot about a person. You can usually tell a lot about a person by the way they walk, the way they talk, their body language, their appearance, the way they smell, etc. If a person hunches when they walk and has very poor body language then it can usually be assumed that they are a shy person. If someone dresses very poorly to school and does not take showers then you can infer that they are either very poor or they just don't care. All of these things tell you about a person before you even talk to them. I do not think that it is fair to judge someone solely on this but it usually helps. Despite all of this, the best way to categorize/describe someone is to talk to them some and get to know their personality. You can not really have an accurate description of someone before you talk to them and listen to what they have to say. Categorizing someone can be very difficult. You can categorize someone by anything, but you should evaluate who that person really is before doing so.

What it would be like to lose everything

I think it would be horrible to lose everything. I would find it very hard to survive without shelter or my family. I cannot even imagine what it would be like to literally lose everything that I own. It would be horrible to live like this. There are so many things in my life that I do not think that I could live without. I think this would be devastating and would literally be a living hell for someone to have to endure. For someone who has been living a good life with a good family and possessions this would be absolutely horrible. I think the same scenario would be bad, but maybe not as worse for someone who is not living very well already. I think this situation would be very humbling. I would have to rely on other people for help in almost all aspects of my life. I would need shelter, food, and care from others to be able to get by. I think the saying, "you don't know what you got till its gone" is true. The more I think about it, the more I realize how much I have. I can not imagine having it all taken away. The worst part would be losing my family. I think I could cope with losing all of my possessions but if I lost my family, I don't know what I would do. Everything would seem so minuscule in comparison to my family. This would be the worst possible scenario for me. I think I would find it very hard to go on with my life without my family there to support me. I am not sure how I would react if this actually happened, but I'm sure it would not be pleasant. I think losing everything is possibly the worst thing that can happen to a person. I do not think anyone deserves this punishment. Losing everything in your life would be a horrible thing to endure. I cannot truly imagine what this would be like.
